I worked with Website Closers broker Vance Baker for more than two years — taking meetings, sharing data — until I met Thamu Mpofu, a businessman from Zimbabwe, who lives in Botswana.

Michael or Thamu, as he prefers to be called, and I took our first call in August 2025. After several more calls, lots of data being shared, and multiple drafts of an asset purchase agreement, Thamsanqa Michael Mpofu and I signed that asset purchase agreement.

The details called for Michael to take 3 months to sort funding the deal. In those three months, Thamsanqa Michael Mpofu showed me exactly who he is — a small-time grifter.

How do we know Thamsanqa Mpofu is a liar and a thief?

• Stripe being used to redeem pre-paid Visa cards from Botswana, got my account canceled.
• Personal loan for $250 USD
• False claims that $120k USD would be wired to our operating account for use in digital ad campaigns run by Edgar, my old pal from Cliffside Malibu days.
• Factoring loan for $2300
• Fake bank statement showing a $20k transfer (note the misspellings, a typical characteristic of Thamu Mpofu, who types and texts with a sort of pigeon English, which I noted when we worked with our two Nigerian models)
• Never actually paid any money toward the acquisition price of the business

So we started to dig…

Entities in the UK and Florida, which has been dissolved

TM Properties Global (UK) – dissolved October 2025

Linthaholdings PYT LTD (UK) – dissolved December 2023

Linthaholdings-NYC LLC (US, Florida) – inactive September 2023

T.M Cars and Chauffeuring services international (Botswana) – no Facebook posts since July 2023

MIT Covid testing project (MIT 2020) – incomplete, unfunded

Competing in a reality show for entrepreneurs in Botswana where the prize was 100k pula (about 7500 USD). Why would a successful real estate entrepreneur compete for $7000???

Michael’s non-performance also interfered with downstream agreements between myself and Vance Baker at Website Closers, as well as Edgar Ochoa, a digital marketing professional.

Michael seems to contribute a lot of reviews to a Trust Pilot profile (Thamsanqa “Michael” Mpofu on TrustPilot), for some reason, but the various industries are all over the place.

The first red flag was Michael using my company Stripe account to redeem pre-paid Visa cards. We did this twice, and the Stripe account was red-flagged for high risk and terminated.

The next red flag was Michael borrowing $250 USD via PayPal with the assurance that our corporate account would be funded with a working capital loan of $120K USD with a week. Michael accepted the personal loan of $250 USD, but that $120K USD never materialized.

Later, without telling me or asking anything about the viability of repaying it, a loan from Aspira Capital was dispersed to my corporate account in the amount of $2300 USD. It was a factoring loan, meaning money borrowed against my company’s future receipts. The repayment terms on factoring loans are extremely aggressive, often over 50%.

The final straw, which prompted me to share this story online as a warning to others, was Michael sending me a fake account statement indicating that he paid my company $20K USD wire international wire transfer. That money never arrived. Only after inspecting the details of that screenshot, was it clear that there were galling misspellings in the screenshot, which 100% did not originate from any banking website.

Final Thoughts about Thamsanqa Mmpofu

My conclusions about Thamsanqa Michael Mpofu were arrived at after meeting many times over Zoom calls, and comparing inconsistent statement with actual evidence.

I may be a colorful person, with an outgoing personality and a bit of a reputation with Shore Thang models, but I am 100% authentic and ethical. I was surprised that Vance Baker and Website Closers would bring such an unscrupulous person into my world without properly vetting him. Alas, thanks to the expired non-disclosure agreement that Vance Baker and I originally signed in October 2023, I was able to share the facts of this wonky experience.

One of the accounts that “Michael” follows on his unused Twitter account is Elon Musk. Here’s a photo of Elon Musk and I in 2012, at a party. Elon is a total drug addict, comes from a family of right-wing Nazis who were thrown out of Canada in the 1930s. That said, he’s also a member of the tech community of which I’m also a part and SpaceX is a remarkably successful company (no comment on his other ventures).

2- from the extra top capital the main core things I want to cover is a-) acquiring a trade instrument I have with HSBC uk bank worth 5 mill usd . This instrument I want to use it specifically for this project to inject more cash up to a million usd fr growth /and also paying a Manager who I will use for the marketing growth plan we have (this is someone I know who has also worked for Google etc ) + paying off wats in the company as a whole .

So from your creditors if it’s a green light to get cash top up – main things il focus on is as below 👇 :

A- 150k $ needed for Edgar to start

B- 100 k $ for you in advance .

C-my trade instrument top up (as I already have part of the amount from my accnts here)( critical one on this list as it will pave a path for me to get the 5 million usd instrument.

(After this is done by dec from the trade instrument I will have cash available for up to 2.5 mill in the instrument ) and that can then pay off (Vance )and (your 1.2 mill early )and also the current credit we will get as a top up .
